This site uses a small, first-party analytics system to understand what is useful and where readers find the work.

What is measured

Aggregate page views, anonymous browser-tab sessions, referral sources, campaign tags, broad device and browser categories, guide download clicks, contact clicks, and approximate city, region, and country information supplied by the hosting network or brief IP location lookups. City and state are plotted only when the location result agrees with the browser's time zone; otherwise the site keeps the country only. Map points use rounded coordinates and are shown only as aggregated audience patterns.

What is not stored

Raw IP addresses, names, email addresses, exact location, advertising identifiers, or anything typed into the site's guided chat experience. When the hosting network supplies only a country, the visitor's browser may request an approximate city and state from an IP location service. The connection address is processed transiently by those services and is not written to this site's analytics database.

Your choice

Analytics and location requests remain off unless you select “Allow private analytics.” Selecting “Essential only” keeps session, location, browser, referral, and behavioral measurement off. The site still records an anonymous aggregate count when the guide is downloaded so the published download total reflects actual requests. That record contains only the event, page, and time. One first-party preference cookie remembers your choice for up to one year, and you can change it at any time through the footer. The site also records an aggregate count of privacy selections and when they occur. These essential records do not include a session, location, browser, or referrer.

How it is used

The information is visible only to the site owner and is used to improve the site, understand interest in the executive guide, and evaluate which channels bring relevant readers here. It is not sold or used for advertising profiles. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected.
